Job Requirements

  • Must be able to perform multiple tasks while maintaining standards in a high volume, fast-paced environment
  • Must produce items exactly according to recipe
  • Must follow food handling and sanitation procedures
  • Must be able to read guest orders
  • Must be able to hear kitchen, window person and/or manager requests in loud background noise
  • Must be able to stand, move and walk for entire shift
  • Must be able to bend and stoop frequently
  • Must be able to lift and carry sacks and cases up to 70 lbs., up to 20 times per shift
  • Must be able to work frequently in hot and damp environments
  • Must be able to occasionally work in extreme cold temperatures
  • Must be able to use hands 99% of the time

Job Duties

  • Prepare a wide variety of foods according to recipe requirements
  • Ensure all prepared food meets TGI Fridays food safety and quality standards
  • Place expo-ready food in the window using appropriate zoning standards
  • Comply with all food safety rules, laws, protocols and standards
  • Keep the kitchen clean and organized
  • Stock and set up rotation for the station
  • Communicate ticket times and potential problems with service staff, kitchen staff and managers
  • Complete assigned prep work
  • Operate and maintain kitchen equipment properly
  • Clean and sanitize throughout the shift
  • Ensure proper rotation of all products and stock products to par
  • Requisition products on a timely basis
  • Assist with line checks and adherence to sensitivity guidelines
  • Keep supervisor informed of any problems or unusual matters
