Job Requirements

  • Availability to work Saturday to Wednesday, 6:30 am to 2:30 pm
  • Ability to comply with safety and hygiene standards
  • Physical ability to handle kitchen tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods

Job Duties

  • Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules
  • Serves meals or prepares for delivery using correct portioning, ensuring food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty
  • Uses established ticket collection procedures during service and maintains accurate records
  • Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness
  • Stores or discards excess food following safe food-handling procedures
  • Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and organized
  • Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed
  • Assists in production planning, record keeping, ordering, and receiving of food and supplies
  • Reports maintenance issues, faulty equipment or accidents promptly
  • Attends in-service and safety meetings
  • Maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators and managers
  • Ensures proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures following HACCP standards
  • Complies with company safety policies including use of gloves, oven mitts, and slip-resistant shoes
