Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- At least one year of relevant cooking experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Prior experience cooking or kitchen experience in a cafeteria or large volume production facility a plus
- Experience with safety procedures in cafeteria or food service environment

Job Duties
- Refer to daily prep list at the start of each shift for assigned duties and complete opening and closing checklists daily
- Set up workstation with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
- Safely use a variety of kitchen utensils including knives and other items
- Operate a variety of equipment including ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers
- Comply consistently with standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, kitchen rules, recipes, policies, and procedures
- Handle, store, label, and rotate all products properly in accordance with applicable state laws
- Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at line stations for smooth serving of food
- Understand menu items and responsible for prepping ingredients
- Multi-task in a high-volume kitchen and handle hot and cold work conditions
- Perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, kneeling, walking, and standing for extended periods
- Stand and be on feet for much of the scheduled shift
- Perform other related duties as assigned
