Job Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year kitchen experience
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

Job Duties

  • Prepare a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables and other food items for cooking in broilers, ovens, grills, fryers and other kitchen equipment
  • Comply with standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen policies
  • Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at line stations for smooth service
  • Portion food products prior to cooking according to standard sizes and recipe specifications
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation area including tables, shelves, grills, broilers and fryers
  • Assist in food prep assignments during off-peak periods as needed
  • Close the kitchen properly and follow closing checklist for kitchen stations
  • Assist others in closing the kitchen, attend all scheduled team meetings and training, and suggest improvements
  • Perform other duties as assigned like dishwashing and bussing
