Job Duties
- Interact with residents and staff in a professional, friendly and compassionate manner
- Follow recipes to prepare quality and nutritional meals
- Plate meals with an attractive presentation
- Maintain a safe, sanitary, clean and organized cooking area
- Assist with stocking inventory of food and non-food supplies
- Assist with cleaning the kitchen
- Prep food in accordance with community and health department standards
- Perform duties of kitchen helper and dishwasher as needed including washing dishes, pots, and pans
- Keep dishwashing area clean and organized
- Put away delivered food products
- Demonstrate high standards of ethics and personal accountability
- Follow all OSHA, fire, health department and safety requirements
- Complete other duties as assigned
- Walk and stand for extended periods
- Push, pull, lift up to 50 lbs
