Job Duties

  • Interact with residents and staff in a professional, friendly and compassionate manner
  • Follow recipes to prepare quality and nutritional meals
  • Plate meals with an attractive presentation
  • Maintain a safe, sanitary, clean and organized cooking area
  • Assist with stocking inventory of food and non-food supplies
  • Assist with cleaning the kitchen
  • Prep food in accordance with community and health department standards
  • Perform duties of kitchen helper and dishwasher as needed including washing dishes, pots, and pans
  • Keep dishwashing area clean and organized
  • Put away delivered food products
  • Demonstrate high standards of ethics and personal accountability
  • Follow all OSHA, fire, health department and safety requirements
  • Complete other duties as assigned
  • Walk and stand for extended periods
  • Push, pull, lift up to 50 lbs
