Job Duties
- perform a full range of cooking methods
- prepare entire meals coordinating several items with different cooking times and characteristics
- prepare menu items including regular and special diet entrees, starches, vegetables, sauces or gravies, and desserts
- follow detailed food preparation instructions
- operate kitchen tools and equipment safely and efficiently
- maintain food safety and sanitation standards
- work under minimal supervision
