Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2-3 years previous cook experience or 3 years of prep cook experience
- solid understanding of professional cooking and knife skills
- understanding and knowledge of safety, sanitation and food handling procedures
- ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
- ability to work in a team environment and take direction
- professional communication skills including verbal and listening skills
- must be self-motivated, organized and able to problem solve
Job Qualifications
- Has understanding and knowledge of how to properly use and maintain all equipment
- assists with cleaning, sanitation, organization of kitchen, coolers, freezers and all storage areas
- is willing and able to assist with daily lineup meetings
- ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
- ability to work in a team environment and take direction

Job Duties
- Performs all aspects of meal preparation, cooking and presentation
- keeps cooking stations stocked, uses a batch cooking method for all food items with documented time/temperature logs
- follows recipes, portion controls and presentation specifications as set by the executive chef
- restocks all items as needed throughout the shift and completes an order sheet to maintain the appropriate level of supplies and inventory
- assists with cleaning, sanitation, organization of kitchen, coolers, freezers and all storage areas
- assists with washing pots and pans along with dishwasher on other projects
- is willing and able to assist with daily lineup meetings
