Job Requirements

  • Must meet minimum age requirements and be authorized to work in the United States
  • Ability to bend, reach, stoop and safely lift up to 30 pounds
  • Capacity to stand for 8 to 12 hour shifts
  • Ability to work as a team with attention to detail and multitasking capability

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous cooking experience preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to follow recipes and portion control guidelines
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Accommodate and stock preparation and line stations
  • Clean, sanitize and organize kitchen area, equipment and utensils
  • Check food quality and freshness
  • Prepare, season and cook food according to recipes, indicated quantities and specifications while maintaining portion control systems
  • Inspect food preparation and serving areas, utensils and equipment to ensure compliance with safe and sanitary food handling practices
  • Substitute or assist other cooks and kitchen stations during busy periods
