Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 1 year of cooking experience in related field
  • knowledge of food safety standards including HACCP
  • ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers
  • physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds
  • ability to stand, bend, twist for job duration
  • willingness to work in hot and fast-paced kitchen environment

Job Duties

  • prepare cooked foods including frying, flat top griddle, pantry, and egg cooking
  • communicate ticket times and potential problems to management and servers
  • provide excellent customer service to both customers and associates
  • follow recipes and product directions for preparing, seasoning, cooking, tasting, carving, and serving food
  • estimate food requirements and keep production records to plan supplies
  • clean and sanitize work stations and equipment
  • practice food safety and sanitation standards and comply with HACCP
  • operate various kitchen equipment
  • measure and mix ingredients and prepare fruits and vegetables
  • stock, date, rotate, and check temperature of products
