Job Requirements

  • Food preparation skills
  • knowledge of HACCP standards
  • minimum one year cooking experience
  • ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds
  • ability to bend, twist, and stand for long periods
  • ability to frequently immerse hands in water and work with chemicals
  • ability to work with sharp knives, utensils, and hot equipment
  • ability to work in hot environments

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum one year of closely related cooking experience
  • knowledge of HACCP standards
  • experience in high volume and casual dining preferred
  • ability to speak, read, and comprehend instructions and policy documents
  • comfortable conversing with customers
  • knowledge of soups, saute, broiler, fry, and pantry cooking techniques

Job Duties

  • Prepare cooked foods following recipes and product directions
  • perform all station functions including Fry, Flat Top Griddle, Pantry, and egg cooking
  • communicate ticket times and potential issues to manager and servers
  • provide highest quality service to customers and associates
  • clean and sanitize work stations and equipment
  • practice excellent food safety and sanitation standards
  • operate kitchen equipment and prepare ingredients
  • stock, date, rotate, and check temperatures of products
