Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical activities including lifting up to 50 pounds
  • reliable attendance and punctuality
  • ability to follow health and safety regulations
  • willingness to work various shifts including split shifts
  • ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively

Job Duties

  • Measures and mixes ingredients according to recipe using kitchen utensils and equipment to prepare food items
  • follows measurement charts to ensure consistent quality products
  • bakes, fries, and microwaves main dishes and heats other food items
  • observes and tests cooking progress by sensory methods to ensure proper cooking and provides guidance during food preparation
  • washes, peels, cuts, dices, and shreds vegetables and fruits for use
  • maintains cleanliness and sanitation of food preparation areas and utensils
  • monitors thermostat controls and reports equipment malfunctions
  • records product usage and waste on charts
  • operates dishwasher
  • delivers clean plates, utensils, and glasses to service areas
