Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical activities including lifting up to 50 pounds
- reliable attendance and punctuality
- ability to follow health and safety regulations
- willingness to work various shifts including split shifts
- ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively

- ability to learn food safety procedures including safe ingredient temperatures

- no previous experience required

Job Duties
- Measures and mixes ingredients according to recipe using kitchen utensils and equipment to prepare food items
- follows measurement charts to ensure consistent quality products
- bakes, fries, and microwaves main dishes and heats other food items
- observes and tests cooking progress by sensory methods to ensure proper cooking and provides guidance during food preparation
- washes, peels, cuts, dices, and shreds vegetables and fruits for use
- maintains cleanliness and sanitation of food preparation areas and utensils
- monitors thermostat controls and reports equipment malfunctions
- records product usage and waste on charts
- operates dishwasher
- delivers clean plates, utensils, and glasses to service areas
