Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in a similar kitchen role
  • Familiarity with food safety standards
  • Ability to work early morning hours from 6:00 am to 2:00 pm
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and recipes
  • Willingness to perform all kitchen duties including dishwashing

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a line cook or prep cook
  • Knowledge of food safety and ServSafe practices
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Basic culinary skills across multiple kitchen stations
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization during shifts
  • Positive attitude and professionalism under pressure

Job Duties

  • Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
  • Prepare food for service
  • Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
  • Clean up station and kitchen
  • Stock inventory appropriately
  • Ensure that food comes out at high quality and in a timely fashion
  • Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
  • Complete temperature logs and checklists for daily and weekly cleaning and maintenance tasks
  • Participate in all roles in the kitchen as required, including as dishwasher when needed
