Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in a similar kitchen role
- Familiarity with food safety standards
- Ability to work early morning hours from 6:00 am to 2:00 pm
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and recipes
- Willingness to perform all kitchen duties including dishwashing
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as a line cook or prep cook
- Knowledge of food safety and ServSafe practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Basic culinary skills across multiple kitchen stations
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization during shifts
- Positive attitude and professionalism under pressure
Job Duties
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
- Prepare food for service
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Clean up station and kitchen
- Stock inventory appropriately
- Ensure that food comes out at high quality and in a timely fashion
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
- Complete temperature logs and checklists for daily and weekly cleaning and maintenance tasks
- Participate in all roles in the kitchen as required, including as dishwasher when needed
