Job Requirements
- must be at least 18 years of age to comply with california child labor laws
- ability to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- must have reliable transportation to and from scheduled shifts
- ability to comply with all uniform policies
- must possess safety-oriented mindset and comply with food preparation and serving regulations
- must have exceptional customer service skills with ability to resolve questions and concerns professionally
- ability to follow direction, multitask, and work independently or as part of a team
- ability to use kitchen equipment safely and effectively
- ability to keep kitchen areas neat and organized
- ability to safely utilize knives and food preparation tools
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent (optional)
- well-developed interpersonal skills
- commitment to great guest service
- one or more years of previous culinary work experience preferred but not required
Job Duties
- greet guests in a fun and inviting manner
- perform opening and closing procedures related to the assigned food and beverage location
- plan and prepare food based on the core menu manual specifications
- observe proper use of cooking and preparation equipment
- perform food preparation such as chopping, slicing, dicing, and mixing
- practice safety procedures when working with sharp objects and equipment
- ensure food products meet quality and presentation guidelines
- expedite food items efficiently to maximize productivity
- perform duties on both hot and cold lines
- assist colleagues with miscellaneous duties to prevent service delays
