Job Requirements

  • Must meet minimum age requirement and be authorized to work in the United States
  • Ability to bend, reach, stoop and safely lift up to 30 pounds
  • Ability to stand for an 8 to 12 hour shift
  • Ability to work as part of a team with attention to detail and multitasking abilities

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous cooking experience is an advantage but not required
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Ability to follow recipes and portion control guidelines
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Accommodate and stock preparation and line stations
  • Clean, sanitize and organize kitchen area, equipment and utensils
  • Check quality and freshness of ingredients
  • Prepare, season and cook food according to recipes, specified quantities, and portion control systems
  • Inspect food preparation and serving areas, as well as utensils and equipment to ensure compliance with safe and sanitary food handling practices
  • Substitute or assist other cooks and kitchen stations during busy periods
