Job Requirements
- Must meet minimum age requirement and be authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to bend, reach, stoop and safely lift up to 30 pounds
- Ability to stand for an 8 to 12 hour shift
- Ability to work as part of a team with attention to detail and multitasking abilities
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous cooking experience is an advantage but not required
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to follow recipes and portion control guidelines
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Accommodate and stock preparation and line stations
- Clean, sanitize and organize kitchen area, equipment and utensils
- Check quality and freshness of ingredients
- Prepare, season and cook food according to recipes, specified quantities, and portion control systems
- Inspect food preparation and serving areas, as well as utensils and equipment to ensure compliance with safe and sanitary food handling practices
- Substitute or assist other cooks and kitchen stations during busy periods
