Job Requirements
- Must meet minimum age as required and be authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and safely lift up to 30 pounds
- Capacity to stand for an 8 to 12 hour shift
- Ability to work cooperatively with a team with attention to detail and multitasking capability
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous cooking or food preparation experience is beneficial
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to follow recipes and portion control guidelines
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
- Basic math skills for measuring and portioning ingredients
Job Duties
- Accommodate and stock preparation and line stations
- Clean, disinfect, and organize kitchen area, equipment, and utensils
- Check quality and freshness of ingredients
- Prepare, season, and cook foods according to recipes, specified quantities, and portion control systems
- Inspect food preparation and service areas, utensils, and equipment to ensure adherence to safe and sanitary food handling practices
- Substitute or assist other cooks and kitchen positions during peak periods
