Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Ability to communicate clearly and work in a team environment
  • Capability to remain stationary and move for up to four hours
  • Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds
  • Willingness to work in hot and damp environments
  • Ability to use hand dexterity for small tools
  • Willingness to wear protective gloves and face coverings throughout the shift
  • Capacity to wash hands frequently with disinfecting soap
  • Commitment to health, safety and hygiene guidelines

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment is advantageous
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Capability to perform physical tasks required for kitchen work
  • Commitment to quality and safety standards
  • Must be at least 18 years old

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to Applebee's standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and cooking areas
  • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations
  • Follow safety and hygiene protocols including the use of protective gear
  • Handle food and kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
  • Assist with inventory management and stock rotation
  • Support the team in maintaining a positive and fast-paced work environment
