Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in food preparation preferred
- Ability to follow established sanitation, safety, and dietary procedures
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to delegate tasks effectively
- Knowledge of state and federal sanitation and safety standards
- Commitment to promoting the mission and values of Priority Life Care
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of previous experience in food preparation preferred
- Previous experience in a long-term care or hospital setting preferred
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Job Duties
- Provide a welcoming and delicious culinary experience for residents
- Ensures cleanliness of work areas, equipment, and utensils
- Monitors and records temperatures in refrigerators and freezers
- Delegates tasks to the prep cooks and dietary aides
- Reports any issues or problems that may arise to the dietary manager
- Complies with state and federal sanitation standards and all other applicable health care and safety standards
- Promote and exemplifies the Priority Life Care mission and values at all times
