Job Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- At least one year food service cooking experience in healthcare, institutional, or full service restaurant setting
- Ability to follow approved recipes and departmental procedures
- Commitment to food safety, sanitation, and hygiene
- Ability to maintain work areas in sanitary condition
- Capability to prioritize tasks and solve problems
- Must be friendly, reliable, and conscientious
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Vocational training in quantity food preparation and sanitation preferred
- Minimum of one year food service cooking experience in healthcare facility, institution, or full service restaurant under qualified chef guidance
- Ability to follow directions and perform repetitive tasks
- Demonstrated initiative and good judgment
- Strong customer service skills
Job Duties
- Prepare food items using weekly menus and approved recipes
- Observe routine work schedules and follow departmental procedures
- Maintain sanitary work areas, equipment, and utensils
- Follow HACCP and OSHA safety standards
- Organize production schedules to meet operational demands
- Address and correct problems promptly
- Support department policies and corporate compliance programs
