Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- 1 or 3 months of related restaurant experience or training
- ability to stand for extended periods
- ability to follow safety and food handling protocols
- ability to communicate effectively with team members and management
- ability to handle kitchen equipment safely
- willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays if needed
Job Qualifications
- 1 or 3 months of related restaurant experience or training
- previous knife-handling experience a plus
- flexibility in schedule highly preferred but not required
- ability to be cross-trained in all areas of the kitchen preferred
- ability to speak, read, and understand the primary language or languages of the work location
Job Duties
- Prep and execute all menu items including seasonal and specials for dine-in and to-go by LPQ ticket standards
- keep all restaurant areas clean and organized by following cleaning checklists and assisting with washing dishes and cleaning kitchen equipment
- assist Kitchen Manager in maintaining proper food par levels and prepare correct quantities using prep sheets
- conduct line checks for quality control
- use proper tools, equipment, and ingredients for each menu item
- follow all opening, mid, and closing procedures as directed by checklists and Kitchen Manager
- complete Le Pain Quotidien cleaning and food safety checklists to ensure proper food handling
