Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 or 3 months of related restaurant experience or training
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • ability to follow safety and food handling protocols
  • ability to communicate effectively with team members and management
  • ability to handle kitchen equipment safely
  • willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays if needed

Job Qualifications

  • 1 or 3 months of related restaurant experience or training
  • previous knife-handling experience a plus
  • flexibility in schedule highly preferred but not required
  • ability to be cross-trained in all areas of the kitchen preferred
  • ability to speak, read, and understand the primary language or languages of the work location

Job Duties

  • Prep and execute all menu items including seasonal and specials for dine-in and to-go by LPQ ticket standards
  • keep all restaurant areas clean and organized by following cleaning checklists and assisting with washing dishes and cleaning kitchen equipment
  • assist Kitchen Manager in maintaining proper food par levels and prepare correct quantities using prep sheets
  • conduct line checks for quality control
  • use proper tools, equipment, and ingredients for each menu item
  • follow all opening, mid, and closing procedures as directed by checklists and Kitchen Manager
  • complete Le Pain Quotidien cleaning and food safety checklists to ensure proper food handling
