Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 90 days of experience as a Cook 3 at AAM or equivalent culinary experience
  • Possess a general understanding of cooking techniques
  • Experience standing for long periods of time
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
  • Ability to handle multiple kitchen stations
  • Ability to work in varied temperature conditions
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Job Duties

  • Accurately follow recipe guidelines to prepare food based on the current menu
  • Display knowledge of all menu items, ingredients, and food preparations
  • Create specific menu items according to recipes and specific cooking methods
  • Perform a variety of kitchen duties including washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding vegetables and fruits, cutting and grinding meats, breading food items, stirring and straining soups and sauces, weighing and measuring ingredients
  • Ensure food temperature, quality, and appearance meet established standards
  • Store foods properly utilizing knowledge of temperature requirements and food spoilage
  • Complete daily time and temperature logs and monitor temperatures using proper equipment
  • Practice proper work procedures, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Ensure accurate labeling, dating, and food rotation using FIFO
  • Identify and manage food allergens according to company procedures
  • Engage with guests and team members to provide exceptional hospitality
  • Display familiarity with the arena and assist guests with navigation
  • Collaborate with operations departments to ensure quality service during events
  • Support other Food and Beverage departments as needed
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by management
