Job Requirements

  • Must be physically able to frequently lift objects weighing up to 40 pounds
  • Must be able to continuously stand, walk, stoop, reach, push, pull, and bend
  • Must satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical
  • Must satisfactorily complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI)
  • Must obtain a Food Handler's Certificate and/or complete food handler's training
  • Experience with food preparation and presentation
  • Open to all applicants with priority eligibility considerations
  • No education substitution allowed for experience
  • Foreign education must be equivalent to U.S. education

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in food preparation and service in grill, snack bar, restaurant, or club environments
  • Knowledge of food service equipment and safety procedures
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • Basic arithmetic skills
  • Food Handler's Certificate or completion of food handler’s training

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook food items according to set menus and recipes
  • Operate and clean food service equipment
  • Follow safety and sanitation procedures
  • Assist in stocking and organizing supplies
  • Maintain cleanliness of the food preparation and service areas
  • Lift and move food and equipment as required
  • Adhere to food handling and storage regulations
