Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent

- experience in food preparation or child nutrition services preferred
- ability to maintain sanitation and safety standards

Job Duties
- prepare, cook, bake, and package a variety of food items and nutritional snacks for distribution at district sites
- maintain kitchen facilities in a safe, orderly and sanitary condition
- follow approved menus and recipes to ensure nutritional quality
- adhere to health and safety regulations in all aspects of food preparation and kitchen maintenance
- assist in inventory management and food storage
- collaborate with child nutrition team members to meet program goals
- ensure all meals meet district standards for quality and presentation
