Job Requirements
- Previous cooking experience preferred
- Ability to work part-time Monday through Thursday with varying hours
- Must be able to handle physical aspects of cooking including standing and lifting
- Ability to follow federal, state, and corporate food safety regulations
- Must adhere to company safety policies including use of protective gloves and equipment
- Ability to perform job duties safely and maintain a clean workspace
- Must be willing to attend training and safety meetings

Job Qualifications
- Previous cooking experience
- Knowledge of food safety standards and HACCP
- Ability to prepare food according to recipes and production schedules
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to operate and maintain kitchen equipment
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain cleanliness
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Job Duties
- Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions
- Serves meals or prepares for delivery ensuring correct portioning and proper temperature
- Uses established ticket collection procedures during service
- Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Stores or discards excess food following safe food-handling procedures
- Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and ensures proper storage of food and supplies
- Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed
- Assists in production planning, record keeping, and reporting
- Assists in ordering and receiving food and supplies
- Reports maintenance issues, faulty equipment or accidents immediately
- Attends in-service and safety meetings
- Maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators and managers
- Performs job safely maintaining a clean, safe work environment
- Ensures proper presentation, portion control, and maintenance of serving temperatures following HACCP standards
- Commits personally to safety and adheres to company policies and procedures regarding safety equipment and techniques
- Performs other duties as assigned
