Job Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Minimum of 1 year related work experience preferred
- Previous nutritional services experience in a medical or hospital setting preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work independently
- Physical ability to perform frequent standing, walking, stooping, and bending
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Minimum of 1 year experience in hospitality services, customer service, or general labor preferred
- Previous experience in nutrition services within a medical or hospital setting preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work independently with strong critical thinking skills
- Demonstrated ability to meet physical demands of the job including frequent standing, walking, stooping, and bending
Job Duties
- Prepare nutritious and well-presented food according to approved recipes
- Ensure excellence in the appearance and quality of all foods served across various nutrition support areas
- Comply with all HACCP guidelines and food safety standards
- Work in multiple settings including retail, bakery, catering, patient services, and coffee kiosks
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in food preparation and service areas
- Assist with inventory management and stock control as needed
- Adapt to work at different Parkview entities as required
