Job Requirements
- Cooking experience required
- Ability to work full time Monday through Friday
- Availability to work between 6:00 am and 3:30 pm
- Ability to perform essential functions with or without accommodation
- Compliance with company safety policies including use of protective equipment
- Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and management
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous cooking experience required
- Knowledge of federal, state, and corporate food safety regulations
- Ability to follow standardized recipes and portion control guidelines
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment operation and maintenance
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and hygiene
- Good interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Ability to work full-time schedule, Monday through Friday
- Basic record-keeping and inventory management skills
- Willingness to attend safety and in-service trainings
Job Duties
- Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions
- Serves meals or prepares for delivery using correct portioning, ensuring food quality and temperature
- Uses established ticket collection procedures during service
- Cleans kitchen areas after preparation and serving, maintaining hygiene standards
- Maintains cleanliness and organization of refrigerators and storerooms
- Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed
- Assists in production planning, record keeping, ordering, and receiving of supplies
- Reports maintenance needs, faulty equipment, or accidents promptly
- Attends in-service and safety meetings
- Maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, and managers
- Performs job tasks safely while ensuring a clean work environment
- Ensures proper food presentation, portion control, and serving temperature according to HACCP standards
- Adheres to company safety policies including appropriate use of protective gear
- Performs other duties as assigned
