Job Requirements
- At least high school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of two years cooking experience in a professional kitchen
- Valid food handler's card
- Ability to work full-time with flexible schedule including varied days and hours
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods and lifting
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow safety guidelines strictly
- Willingness to attend training and safety meetings
- Ability to work effectively under supervision and with team members
Job Qualifications
- At least two years of cooking experience
- Valid food handler's card
- Ability to prepare food following established recipes and standards
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures
- Experience in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in a kitchen environment
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

- Commitment to safety protocols and procedures
Job Duties
- Prepare high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions
- Serve meals or prepare for delivery using correct portioning and maintaining food temperature and presentation
- Use established ticket collection procedures during service and maintain accurate records
- Clean kitchen after preparation and serving maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Store or discard excess food following safe food-handling procedures
- Keep refrigerators and storerooms clean and ensure food and supplies are stored per standards
- Operate and maintain kitchen equipment as instructed
- Assist in production planning, record keeping, and reporting
- Assist in ordering and receiving of food and supplies
- Report maintenance needs, faulty equipment, or accidents to supervisor immediately
- Attend in-service and safety meetings
- Maintain good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators, and managers
- Perform job safely while maintaining a clean, safe work environment
- Ensure proper presentation, portion control, and maintenance of serving temperatures according to HACCP standards
- Demonstrate personal commitment to safety of self and others
- Abide by all company policies including use of cut gloves, oven mitts, fryer gloves, slip-resistant shoes, and proper lifting techniques
- Perform other duties as assigned
