  • Skilled in prep, cooking, and executing recipes with consistency
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Team player with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

Job Duties

  • Prepare a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables and other food items for cooking in broilers, ovens, grills, fryers and other kitchen equipment
  • Know and comply with standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen rules, policies and procedures
  • Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at line stations to assure a smooth service period
  • Portion food products prior to cooking according to standards and recipe specifications
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation including tables, shelves, grills, broilers, and fryers
  • Assist in food prep assignments during off-peak periods
  • Close the kitchen properly following the closing checklist for kitchen stations
  • Attend all scheduled team meetings and training sessions and contribute suggestions for improvements
  • Perform other duties such as dishwashing and bussing as assigned
