Job Requirements

- Knowledge of food safety standards

- Flexibility to work rotating shifts including weekends

Job Duties
- Prepare food according to standardized recipes and production sheet needs to include portion control, garnishing and presentation
- Continue to improve cooking skills through flexibility in assignments
- Store leftovers and prep food using proper labeling and within timeframes
- Inventory food items as assigned
- Maintain appropriate records of food temperatures, production, waste and usage
- Maintain and ensure food safety standards
- Maintain a clean, sanitary work environment throughout shift according to the standards of the department, hospital and regulatory agencies
