- one year of cooking and food preparation experience
- ability to be active and on feet most of the day
- ability to lift, push, and pull medium weight objects
- ability to occasionally lift heavy weight objects
- ability to withstand hot, humid, cold or icy working conditions
- knowledge of and compliance with food handling regulations
- ability to provide necessary care for patients across various age groups
- ability to interact effectively with diverse patient populations
- medium level physical demands involving exerting 20-50 pounds of force occasionally
