Job Duties
- Perform a wide range of cooking techniques including prepping, roasting, broiling, braising, sautéing, and grilling
- Prepare meals according to quality standards for freshness, taste, appearance, and consistency
- Follow standardized recipes to ensure portion control and product consistency
- Notify the Chef or Sous Chef immediately of any shortages, discrepancies, or quality concerns with ingredients or products
- Monitor and assist with the timing and flow of food production to maintain an efficient kitchen operation
- Support coordination between kitchen stations to prevent delays in the production process
- Ensure full compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations
- Adhere strictly to procedures outlined in the Food Safety Management System handbook
- Report any food safety risks or violations to your manager and the hygiene/food safety team
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation at all times
