Job Requirements
- Must meet minimum age requirements and be authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to bend, reach, stoop and safely lift up to 30 pounds
- Ability to stand for 8 to 12 hour shifts
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team with attention to detail and multitasking abilities
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a kitchen or food preparation environment preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to follow recipes and portion control guidelines
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Stock and set up preparation and line stations
- Clean, disinfect and organize kitchen areas, equipment and utensils
- Check ingredient quality and freshness
- Prepare, season and cook food according to recipes, specified quantities and portion control systems
- Inspect food preparation and serving areas, utensils and equipment to ensure safe and sanitary food handling practices
- Substitute or assist other cooks and kitchen positions during peak periods
