Job Requirements

Must be physically able to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 40 pounds unassisted
occasionally able to lift or move objects weighing over 40 pounds with assistance
provide proof of eligibility by closing date
meet experience requirements related to food preparation and presentation
no education substitution allowed
open to all applicants with eligibility considerations
able to work safely in food service environment

Job Qualifications

Experience in food preparation and presentation in grills, snack bars, restaurants, or similar food activities
knowledge of operating and cleaning food service equipment
ability to follow oral and written instructions
ability to perform simple arithmetic
knowledge of food characteristics and seasoning
experience ensuring food safety and quality

Job Duties

Prepare and present food items following established methods and procedures
operate and clean food service equipment
season food and determine when foods are properly cooked
follow oral and written instructions carefully
maintain food safety and quality standards
lift and carry equipment up to 40 pounds
assist in moving objects over 40 pounds safely
maintain cleanliness of food preparation areas
