Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent certificate
At least two years' experience with food preparation, food purchasing, kitchen safety sanitation, and menu preparation in a restaurant, health care facility, or institution
Speak, read, and understand the English language
Read and follow instructions, recipe books, menus, and food labels correctly
Demonstrate a positive attitude and the ability to work well with all people, particularly the elderly
May be required to hold valid First Aid Certification

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

Prepare appealing and nutritious meals for residents, prospective residents, families, and guests
Ensure food preparation meets kitchen safety and sanitation standards
Assist with food purchasing and inventory management
Follow recipes, menus, and food labels accurately
Maintain a positive attitude and work collaboratively within the team
Support the mission of providing exceptional senior care through meal services
May be required to hold valid First Aid Certification
