Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent certificate
- At least two years' experience with food preparation, food purchasing, kitchen safety sanitation, and menu preparation in a restaurant, health care facility, or institution
- Speak, read, and understand the English language
- Read and follow instructions, recipe books, menus, and food labels correctly
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and the ability to work well with all people, particularly the elderly
- May be required to hold valid First Aid Certification

Job Duties
- Prepare appealing and nutritious meals for residents, prospective residents, families, and guests
- Ensure food preparation meets kitchen safety and sanitation standards
- Assist with food purchasing and inventory management
- Follow recipes, menus, and food labels accurately
- Maintain a positive attitude and work collaboratively within the team
- Support the mission of providing exceptional senior care through meal services
- May be required to hold valid First Aid Certification
