Job Requirements
- Minimum two years of cook experience
- valid government issued identification
- willing to obtain Riverside County food handler’s card if not already held
- ability to read and speak English
- flexible availability including weekends
Job Qualifications
- Minimum two years of cook experience
- ability to read and speak English
- valid government issued identification
- knowledge of food safety regulations
- experience in a hospital or skilled nursing setting preferred
- ServSafe certification preferred
Job Duties
- Cook food for hot and cold prep
- maintain a clean environment
- prepare food for patient dining and retail service following regulatory standards
- track food temperatures and monitor equipment like refrigerators and ovens
- follow food safety standards to prevent cross contamination
- read and execute standardized recipes
- perform stocking and inventory control
- operate dishwashing equipment and maintain sanitation
- assist in cleaning and sanitization of the department
