Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • able to perform essential duties satisfactorily
  • ability to stand regularly
  • ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 60 pounds occasionally
  • ability to work in high heat and noisy environment
  • must purchase non-slip shoes suitable for wet and slippery floors (available at a company discount)
  • may need to obtain State Food Handler certification within 60 days of hire

Job Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • less than high school education, GED or high school degree accepted
  • ability to comprehend simple instructions
  • ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
  • ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
  • may be required to obtain a State Food Handler certification within 60 days of hire

Job Duties

  • Sets up workstations with all needed ingredients and equipment
  • ensures all foods are prepared according to guidelines using only approved ingredients and processes
  • handles raw chicken in a safe manner at all times and prevents cross contamination
  • fries and bakes chicken
  • works around hot oil and must closely follow all safety policies
  • safely utilizes a variety of utensils and cooking equipment
  • complies with established cooking methods, quality standards and food safety policies/practices
  • follows all chemical safety guidelines
  • discards ingredients/products that have expired or do not meet quality standards
  • stocks and maintains sufficient levels of food products
  • looks for opportunities to assist fellow team members in an enthusiastic manner
  • must be able to lift up to 60 pounds
  • other duties as assigned
