Job Requirements

  • Must be able to stand for eight hours

  • must pass appropriate security clearance
  • maintain state food certifications
  • demonstrate honesty and trustworthiness
  • must be flexible with work schedule including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • One year experience following standard recipes
  • experience with chain food and retail outlet preferred
  • high school diploma or equivalent of GED
  • associate's degree preferred
  • maintain state food certifications as applicable
  • ability to communicate in English
  • professionalism and trustworthiness
  • strong organizational skills
  • effective communication skills
  • ability to solve guest issues with a hospitable attitude

Job Duties

  • Provide excellent quality of product and service to guests
  • prepare menu items following standard recipes
  • store and maintain par stock of supplies and menu items
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of dining and storage areas
  • ensure food safety by controlling temperatures and adhering to protocols
  • close out shift with cleaning and restocking supplies
  • maintain safety and security practices including emergency procedures
  • communicate effectively with guests and team members
  • maintain certification from approved vendor training programs
  • perform other duties as assigned
