Job Requirements

- Minimum 1 year kitchen experience in a high-volume or fast-casual setting
- Skilled in prep, cooking, and executing recipes with consistency
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Team player with a positive, can-do attitude
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
Job Duties
- Prepares a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables and other food items for cooking in broilers, ovens, grills, fryers and other kitchen equipment
- Knows and complies with standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen policies
- Stocks and maintains sufficient levels of food products at line stations to ensure smooth service
- Portions food products prior to cooking according to standard portion sizes and recipe specifications
- Maintains a clean and sanitary work station including tables, shelves, grills, broilers, fryers etc
- Assists in food prep assignments during off-peak periods as needed
- Closes the kitchen properly and follows closing checklists for kitchen stations
- Assists others in closing the kitchen and attends scheduled team meetings and training
- Performs other duties such as dishwashing and bussing as assigned
