Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Three years culinary arts experience in food service
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate English
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • ServSafe Certification or equivalent preferred
  • Availability for part-time shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Associates degree in Culinary Arts preferred
  • Three years of culinary arts experience in a food service setting

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Prepare and serve meals for patients, visitors, and staff
  • Review menus and production sheets to plan and prepare cooking schedules
  • Follow standardized recipes to ensure consistency
  • Maintain kitchen safety and cleanliness standards
  • Communicate effectively with team members and other departments
  • Assist with catering events
  • Participate in hospital food service initiatives
