Job Requirements

  • At least one year of relevant work experience in a restaurant or food capacity
  • availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming and racing license
  • willingness to adhere to all company policies and procedures
  • physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform kitchen tasks
  • reliable transportation to work
  • legal authorization to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • minimum two years of experience in high volume food service or preparation
  • ability to follow recipes and maintain food quality
  • experience with food safety and sanitation procedures
  • capability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • strong attention to detail
  • excellent communication and teamwork skills

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook meals following standardized recipes to ensure consistency
  • accommodate special requests and dietary needs of guests
  • maintain proper food rotation, labeling, and storage of perishables
  • minimize food waste to meet forecasted food costs
  • perform general kitchen maintenance including cleaning and sanitizing work areas
  • open and close the kitchen as needed
  • ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
