Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous food preparation experience beneficial
  • standing and walking 100 percent of the time
  • ability to lift up to 40 lbs occasionally
  • adherence to sanitary and safety standards
  • availability to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • prepare food according to Parkhurst recipes and enforce batch cooking method
  • ensure quality and quantity of food throughout service using production sheets
  • maintain proper line presentation including garnished pans and appropriate utensils
  • keep food at proper serving temperatures
  • communicate with line servers and management daily about food items and supply needs
  • complete daily production sheets and properly store and date food items
  • follow HACCP guidelines for leftovers and adhere to cleaning schedules using clean as you go techniques
  • maintain proper uniform and personal hygiene
  • follow Parkhurst Gold Standards and Smile Plus hospitality imperatives
  • assist team members when needed
  • perform other duties as assigned by management
