Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of two years of cooking experience preferred
- Ability to work full time Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks
- Ability to understand and follow food safety regulations
- Must comply with all company safety requirements including use of protective gloves and safe lifting
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
Job Qualifications
- Two years of line cooking or grill cooking experience preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to follow standardized recipes and portion control
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and safety in the kitchen
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment operation and maintenance
- Commitment to providing high-quality food service
- Must adhere to company policies and safety procedures
Job Duties
- Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions
- Serves meals ensuring correct portioning, temperature, and presentation
- Uses established ticket collection procedures during service
- Cleans kitchen and maintains high standards of cleanliness
- Stores or discards excess food according to safe food-handling procedures
- Maintains cleanliness and organization of refrigerators and storerooms
- Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed
- Assists in production planning, record keeping, and reporting
- Orders and receives food and supplies as required
- Reports maintenance needs and equipment issues promptly
- Attends in-service and safety meetings
- Maintains positive working relationships with coworkers and supervisors
- Performs job safely and maintains a clean, safe work environment
- Ensures proper presentation, portion control, and following HACCP standards
- Abides by company safety policies including use of protective gloves and proper lifting techniques
- Performs other duties as assigned
