Job Requirements
- Training for Alcohol Professionals (TAP card)
- ServSafe Food Handlers certification
- Ability to work in remote Alaska locations
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Capability to stand for long periods and perform tasks involving stooping, kneeling, and walking
- Dexterity and good vision
Job Qualifications
- Prior cooking experience in a similar environment
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment and food safety procedures
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Good time management abilities
- Customer service experience
Job Duties
- Prepare meals efficiently according to daily guest numbers and menu requirements
- Assist in other food preparation tasks including baking and stocking
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Operate and maintain kitchen equipment properly
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management
- Manage time effectively to meet meal service schedules
- Provide excellent customer service as part of the culinary team
