Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and staff
- Capability to remain stationary and exert mobility for up to four hours
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to work in hot and damp conditions
- Ability to wear protective hand coverings and face masks throughout shifts
- Ability to frequently wash hands with disinfecting soap
- Commitment to health and safety protocols
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous kitchen or cooking experience is an asset
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Willingness to learn and adapt to the fast-paced restaurant environment
Job Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to Applebee's standards
- Maintain sanitation and safety protocols in food preparation and kitchen cleanliness
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly
- Manage kitchen tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Abide by health, safety, and hygiene guidelines including wearing protective coverings and frequent hand washing
- Assist in inventory and stock management
- Uphold quality and presentation standards for all dishes served
