Job Requirements

Be at least 18 years old
Ability to communicate effectively with team members and staff
Capability to remain stationary and exert mobility for up to four hours
Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds
Willingness to work in hot and damp conditions
Ability to wear protective hand coverings and face masks throughout shifts
Ability to frequently wash hands with disinfecting soap
Commitment to health and safety protocols

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous kitchen or cooking experience is an asset
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work efficiently under pressure
Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
Willingness to learn and adapt to the fast-paced restaurant environment

Job Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to Applebee's standards
Maintain sanitation and safety protocols in food preparation and kitchen cleanliness
Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly
Manage kitchen tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Abide by health, safety, and hygiene guidelines including wearing protective coverings and frequent hand washing
Assist in inventory and stock management
Uphold quality and presentation standards for all dishes served
