Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous cooking experience preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety practices
  • Ability to follow standardized recipes and menu guidelines
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good communication skills

Job Duties

  • Prepare hot and cold menu items working on the grill, sauté station, salad-bar and service line
  • Ensure proper preparation, portioning and serving of foods as indicated on the menu cycle and standardized recipes
  • Taste and prepare food to determine quality and palatability
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen area
  • Follow food safety and health regulations
  • Collaborate with team members to meet dining service needs
  • Assist in inventory management and ordering supplies
