Job Requirements
- Food preparation skills and knowledge of HACCP standards
- Minimum of 1 year closely related cooking experience
- Experience in high volume, casual dining restaurant preferred
- Ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions and policy documents
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
- Ability to bend, twist and stand for normal job functions
- Frequently immerse hands in water and chemical solutions
- Frequently work with sharp knives, utensils and hot plates
- Frequently work in hot environment
Job Qualifications
- Food preparation skills and knowledge of HACCP standards
- Minimum of 1 year closely related cooking experience

- Food knowledge pertaining to soups, saute, broiler, fry and pantry
- Ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions and policy documents
- Comfortable conversing with customers
Job Duties
- Follow recipes and product directions for preparing, seasoning, cooking, tasting, carving and serving food items including soups, meats, vegetables, desserts and other food and beverage products
- Communicate ticket times and potential issues to manager on duty and servers
- Provide the highest quality service to customers and associates
- Clean and sanitize workstations and kitchen equipment
- Practice excellent food safety, sanitation practices and comply with HACCP standards
- Operate a variety of kitchen equipment
- Measure and mix ingredients, wash, peel, cut and shred fruits and vegetables
- Stock, date, rotate and check temperature of products
