Job Requirements

  • Skilled in prep, cooking, and executing recipes with consistency
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

Job Duties

  • Prepare a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other food items for cooking in broilers, ovens, grills, fryers and other kitchen equipment
  • Comply with standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen policies
  • Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at line stations to ensure smooth service
  • Portion food products prior to cooking according to recipes
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary work station including grills, broilers, and fryers
  • Assist in food prep assignments during off-peak periods
  • Close the kitchen properly following closing checklist
  • Attend team meetings and trainings
  • Perform other duties such as dishwashing and bussing as assigned
