Job Requirements

minimum 10th grade education
prior skilled nursing foodservice experience preferred
ability to work the 12P-8P shift
physical ability to stand and lift as required
willingness to comply with health and safety regulations
reliable and punctual
positive attitude towards teamwork

Job Qualifications

basic cooking skills
knowledge of food safety standards
ability to follow written recipes
good communication skills
prior experience in a skilled nursing foodservice setting preferred but not required
ability to work in a team environment

Job Duties

prepare meals according to dietary requirements
ensure food safety by recording temperatures
follow recipes for large volume food preparation
maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and equipment
assist in inventory management and ordering supplies
collaborate with dietary staff for special meal requests
provide excellent customer service to residents
