Job Requirements
- must be at least 16 years of age
- must be able to lift 40 pounds
- ability to perform physical demands including frequent standing, walking, stooping, and bending
- strong verbal and written communication skills
- ability to multi-task and work independently
- previous experience in hospitality or nutrition services preferred
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or GED preferred
- minimum of 1 year experience in hospitality services, customer service, or general labor
- previous experience in nutritional services within a medical or hospital setting preferred
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- ability to multi-task and work independently using critical thinking skills
Job Duties
- prepare nutritious and well-presented food following approved recipe guidelines
- ensure excellence in appearance and quality of all foods served
- comply with all HACCP guidelines and food safety standards
- work across various service areas including retail, bakery, catering, patient services, and coffee kiosks
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area
- assist in inventory management and supply ordering as needed
- collaborate with nutrition services team to meet service demands
