Job Requirements

  • must be at least 16 years of age
  • must be able to lift 40 pounds
  • ability to perform physical demands including frequent standing, walking, stooping, and bending
  • strong verbal and written communication skills
  • ability to multi-task and work independently
  • previous experience in hospitality or nutrition services preferred

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or GED preferred
  • minimum of 1 year experience in hospitality services, customer service, or general labor
  • previous experience in nutritional services within a medical or hospital setting preferred
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • ability to multi-task and work independently using critical thinking skills

Job Duties

  • prepare nutritious and well-presented food following approved recipe guidelines
  • ensure excellence in appearance and quality of all foods served
  • comply with all HACCP guidelines and food safety standards
  • work across various service areas including retail, bakery, catering, patient services, and coffee kiosks
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area
  • assist in inventory management and supply ordering as needed
  • collaborate with nutrition services team to meet service demands
