Job Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year kitchen experience in a high-volume or fast-casual setting
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Ability to work as part of a team with a positive attitude
  • Ability to follow recipes and portion control guidelines
  • Flexibility to work in Southern California or Dallas/Fort Worth locations
  • Ability to attend team meetings and training sessions
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

Job Duties

  • Prepare a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other food items using broilers, ovens, grills, fryers, and other kitchen equipment
  • Follow standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen policies
  • Maintain food stock levels at line stations to ensure smooth service periods
  • Portion food according to recipes and specifications prior to cooking
  • Keep work stations clean and sanitary, including tables, grills, broilers, and fryers
  • Assist with food preparation during off-peak hours
  • Properly close the kitchen following the station's closing checklist
  • Attend team meetings and training sessions
  • Perform additional duties such as dishwashing and bussing as assigned
