Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED, or as required by state regulations
  • One year cooking experience in a restaurant, health care or senior services setting for Cook position
  • Two years cooking experience or completed culinary or vocational training or certification for Chef position
  • Ability to follow established recipes and food safety regulations
  • Ability to work well under pressure and within time limits
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Must accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies
  • Flexible schedule without late-night shifts

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED, or as required by state regulations
  • Cook: One year cooking experience in a restaurant, health care or senior services setting
  • Chef: Two years cooking experience in a restaurant, health care or senior services setting or completed culinary training or certification or vocational training or certification in commercial food preparation

Job Duties

  • Follow established corporate recipes or those identified by the Culinary Services Director
  • Follow all ServSafe, governmental and corporate regulations for food safety and handling
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Adjust food items to accommodate guests with allergies or specific diet concerns
  • Acts as liaison to front-of-house employees to ensure proper food service temperature
  • Assists other cooks during the food assembly process
  • Ensure proper cleaning and sanitization of equipment and work areas
